Who We Are
RHAM Sports Boosters is a volunteer-run organization of sports fans who give their time, energy, and financial support to build up the athletic programs at RHAM High School and Middle School in Hebron, Connecticut.
Ways to Get Involved
- Join as a member — your dues support projects and mini-grant requests. The fall, winter, and spring teams that sign up the most memberships each earn $250! Sports Boosters will also consider match-funding any RHAM sports request.
- Lend a hand — volunteer your time at fundraising efforts and activities.
Events and Programs We Sponsor
- Middle School ice cream social (three times a year)
- High School sports banquets (three times a year)
- Yearly scholarships for seniors
Match-Funded and Contributed Items
- Girls LAX uniforms
- Scoreboard for the high school gym
- Wind screens for the tennis courts
- Video equipment for the basketball team
- Pitching machine for softball
- Mats for the cheerleaders
- Mats for wrestling
- Lax goal and soccer goal (MS)
- Sweats for boys basketball
- Track and field equipment
- Costumes for the dance team
- Pants for the gymnastics team
- New balls for the soccer team
- Choreographer for the cheerleaders
- Travel fees for the state champion gymnast
- Jackets for state champion teams
- Storage shed on the practice field
Equipment and Facilities We Have Purchased
- Concession stand at the competition field
- Middle School baseball scoreboard
- $5,000 in materials to build an out-shed on the baseball field
- $4,000 of weight room equipment
- State championship and conference banners in the gym
- New ice machine for the training room
