What does RHAM Sports Boosters do?
Item 4 of the bylaws explains that the organization recognizes students in the RHAM Middle and High School athletic programs, encourages student participation and enthusiasm, raises community awareness, supports improvements to the athletics programs, awards mini grants to teams, runs fundraising efforts, and provides scholarships to senior students.
Who is eligible to join RHAM Sports Boosters?
Item 7 notes that membership is open to the families and friends of student athletes as well as RHAM faculty. Coaches and administration (the Superintendent and Principals) serve as members-at-large.
What are the annual dues?
According to Item 7, the membership sets annual dues. The rate in effect as of 8/30/2021 is $10 for Middle School membership, $25 for Student membership, and $50 for Family membership.
When do elections take place, and how long do officers serve?
Item 6 specifies that elections take place during the fourth quarter of the school year, with a slate presented at one meeting and voting at the next. Officers serve two-year terms, and there is no limit on the number of terms.
How are the bylaws amended?
